Soul Selections is an all-vinyl soul and funk DJ duo specializing in deep-cut rarities alongside everyone’s favorite classics. Jon Fowler and Alex Forbes are longtime record collectors and audio engineers who first met while working at Salzer’s Records in Ventura. They currently work as audio engineers at the Granada Theatre in Santa Barbara. Their shared passion for soul and funk music, combined with their expansive record collections, inspired them to create Soul Selections. They perform throughout Ventura and Santa Barbara Counties, bringing thoughtfully curated all-vinyl sets to audiences across the Central Coast.
